Legal Charity, Central London / Hybrid, Permanent, £34,000 with benefits

An international human rights charity is seeking an organised and analytical professional to support its work promoting accountability for serious human rights violations and international crimes.

The organisation combines legal expertise with innovative technology to help ensure photo, audio and video evidence can be preserved and used in criminal investigations, prosecutions and other accountability processes worldwide.

Working within a small, collaborative team, you will support the review and analysis of digital evidence submissions, coordinate legal review processes, manage relationships with volunteer legal professionals and assist with the preparation of evidence dossiers and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and triage photo, audio and video submissions and associated metadata.
• Analyse information received and identify trends, patterns and key findings.
• Produce accurate reports, summaries and data analyses.
• Coordinate and manage a roster of pro bono lawyers.
• Deliver inductions and training sessions for new legal volunteers.
• Support the preparation of evidence dossiers through research, data curation and analysis.
• Maintain accurate records and databases.
• Assist with project coordination and stakeholder communications.

You should be highly organised, proactive and comfortable working with large volumes of information, possess excellent attention to detail, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Degree-level education in Data Science, International Relations or a related discipline.
• Experience working with databases and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience analysing complex information and presenting findings clearly through reports, spreadsheets or data visualisations.
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• A genuine interest in international justice, human rights, criminal law or evidence gathering.

Desirable Experience:

• Working with legal, evidential or asset management databases.
• Supporting lawyers, prosecutors, law enforcement agencies, NGOs or international organisations.
• Delivering training, presentations or stakeholder briefings.
• Knowledge of international criminal law, human rights or criminal evidence.
• Additional language skills, particularly Arabic or French.
