Wales born Nesta, lived in London for many moons before re locating to Spain where she uses work to shelter from the relentless sun. Nesta joined Val Wade after a diverse 30 year career in Media and TV. Setting up the Media Planning function at the BBCTV, being Head of Scheduling at the inception of Big Brother and Sex in the City at Channel 4 before heading to Amsterdam to live and run the Extreme Sport Channel are notable highlights. She latterly spent 15 years at Discovery Channel where she ascended the corporate ladder to become Director of Programmes, focussing on Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, helming a considerable budget and managing a matrixed global team. The role at Discovery meant a lot of global travel, to the US and across Europe, her airmiles total was impressive however her carbon footprint was less to boast about
